Do you want to contribute to the production of super-strong and lightweight fibers used in, among other things, armored vehicles? Become a Mechanical Operator at Teijin Aramid in Emmen. As a Mechanical Operator:
- You will be involved in spinning and changing spools.
- You will prepare approved products for shipment to the warehouse and ensure they meet quality standards.
- You will make informed decisions based on process data regarding equipment settings.
- You will troubleshoot minor malfunctions to prevent any output and/or quality loss.
- You will work according to procedures regarding safety, health, environment, and quality.
Role and department
As a Mechanical Operator, you work together in a shift team. There are 5 different shift teams in Emmen, and an average team consists of 6-10 employees. You report to the team leader of the spinning department.
As a Mechanical Operator, you, together with your shift team, share responsibility for realizing the production processes in our spinning department. In this spinning department, fibers are spun into Twaron. You will be involved in troubleshooting and ensuring the quality of the products. Spinning and changing spools are also part of your tasks.
Your profile

- have at least an Operator A diploma or a technical MBO level 3 diploma.
- have experience with production processes.

- have a height of at least 1.75cm.
