We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Key Account Manager to oversee and develop strategic relationships with our key clients across the EMEA region. This role involves managing large-scale accounts within the electronic security distribution sector, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth through tailored solutions and excellent service. You will be the main point of contact that is responsible for the overall relationship in the Netherlands, with the leadership of select International Accounts customers and our local Country leadership team. You will be accountable for leading strategic growth in assigned international accounts. This role requires strong communications, leadership, and strategic thinking skills, along with comprehensive knowledge of distribution sales, pricing, and account management best practices.
JOB DUTIES:
Primary Account Contact: Be the main point of contact for ADI and selected International Account customers in your country, building close relationships, and delivering first-class customer experience.
Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and manage account-based strategies which allow the Regional Account Specialists and store teams to drive revenue and margin growth in the local area.
Customer Lifetime Value: Unlock customers’ potential through the value proposition of ADI to leverage the value of the customer lifetime.
Credit & Collections Support: Work with ADI’s Credit department and customer AP contacts to avoid credit holds in the first instance and keep accounts healthy.
Tools: Use internal tools to manage vendor pricing for evaluating and enabling margin growth strategies. (SFDC, PROS Guidance, SAP )
Account Profiling: Maintain up-to-date profiles by utilizing Profile Sheets and in-house documentation to guide sales strategy and tactics.
Exclusive Brands Strategy: Develop and implement a strategy for expanding use of ADI’s Exclusive Brands within every National Account group you are responsible for.
Opportunity Management: Manage opportunities through the use of Salesforce, keep the pipeline active, and follow up diligently through WAYBE (What Are You Buying Elsewhere) accountability.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Minimum 5 years of Outside Sales experience
Strong understanding of electronic solutions, products, and market dynamics.
Fluent in English & Dutch
WE VALUE:
Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce experience
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a corporate environment managing both internal and external stakeholders
